He Almost Flips Then Goes For a Wild Ride By Jumping 30 Feet In His Racecar!

During the course of any race, there are a lot of moving parts that all have to cooperate with one another in order to get the job done. Even if all of these mechanical aspects to manage to stay in line with one another and provide the perfect basis for a race, the human aspect of racing can sometimes be what makes a race go awry. No driver is perfect and one false move could definitely mean quite a hairy situation as cars race to some pretty incredible speeds that have a small margin for error while drivers blast along in close proximity.

This time, we check out a little bit of dirt track racing that would end with a scenario that not too many people saw coming before this race got underway. As a couple of cars would get really close to one another when shooting into a turn, it would appear as if one of the drivers would simply lose all control, causing his car to get tied up in an interesting sequence of events where the machine would be steered a little bit too hard, going up on two wheels before coming back down again and then being thrust into the awkward situation that had all of that momentum rolling heavily on four wheels once again, straihgt toward the top of the curve!

If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll be able to watch the action as the Travis Robertson simply couldn’t recover from that predicament and ended up launching the machine off of the track and high into the air after plowing his way right off of the embankment before lurching into a couple of billboards surrounding the racing surface. Thankfully, he was alright after the showing that we’re sure he won’t soon forget.

River Cities Speedway Crash

A wild moment from last night's late mods at River Cities Speedway. Travis Robertson went airborne coming into a turn. Luckily, he was OK.
