Street Outlaws “Bobby Ducote” Wrecks His New Racecar… Thankfully He’s Okay

On race day, as it turns out, you win some and you lose some. Some of the victories can be incredibly high and some losses can be incredibly low. Just to throw an over used analogy in there, racing can really be a roller coaster ride that takes you through peaks and valleys, giving you great success and sometimes, defeat that takes a while to get over.

This time, unfortunately, we regret to inform you that it’s not a peak that we’re reporting upon but instead, a valley that took Bobby Ducote and his racing machine on a wild ride straight into the wall, doing an incredible amount of damage to the Ford Mustang and rendering it in operable, at least for the time being.

While the accident was a pretty gnarly lick, this one definitely could’ve been much worse as it looks like the majority of the car is going to be salvageable even though it will be out of commission for some time. I guess that you could say that the silver lining in a situation like this is that Bobby wasn’t injured by the intense accident and already has a car that he will be racing in the meantime while this one undergoes surgery. This is just another perfect example of how the racing community helps to pick one another up when something like this brings one of its members down.

The video below posted by the guys over at NXGonzo showcases the wreck as it happened. That certainly doesn’t look like a fun ride and I guess that all that we can do from here on out is wish Bobby a quick and speedy mechanical recovery. Hopefully, he can get the pieces back together before too much time has passed and maybe we’ll see Lil Legend out there running again.
