Throw Some Boost at a Honda S2000 and it Becomes a Racing Machine!

It’s a proven formula for going fast that has been proven time and again: small car plus big power equals impressive ET’s, and this S2000 is another example of that formula in action!

Steve Nestore’s Honda came from the factory with about 240 HP, but with the addition of a little boost, the car is likely cranking out double that or more. With a factory curb weight of less than 2,900 pounds, the car is ideal for for the 1320, so Steve loaded up and headed to Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland and hit the quarter to see what his Honda would do. Needless to say, it’s pretty damn impressive.

On the first hit, Nestore lays down a solid run of 10.61 at just a hair under 140 MPH. He comes back and spots a Challenger almost a full second and very nearly runs him down, ripping off a 10.11 elapsed time at over 143 MPH, putting him just a breath away from the vaunted 9-second zone! Wicked numbers from a badass S2K for sure!
