Guy Gives Cops Brother’s Name but the Officers Know Him, Big Time Backfire!

When it comes to interacting with a police officer, lying is probably never a good course of action. I think that a lot of people would agree that there are certain times where maybe you should keep your mouth shut and ask for a lawyer but providing an answer that isn’t truthful probably isn’t something that you’re going to want to do. If you do get caught lying, the only thing that’s going to happen is that you’re going to end up in even more trouble than what you started with. We’re certainly not lawyers but we get a feeling that the truth or nothing at all is better than a lie.

In this situation, we watch as an individual gets caught up with the police and after a little bit of a struggle, decided to give them a name that wasn’t his. Instead of being honest about his identity because he thinks he might have a warrant, the individual decides to give up the name of his brother. However, as it turns out, unfortunately for the suspect, one of the officers on the case happens to know his brother and is pretty confident that this isn’t the guy who he says he is. As a result, the night would just get a lot longer for the suspect from there.

If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll be able to find your way to the scene of the stop thanks the show that we all know and love as the COPS cameras are rolling for an episode of LIVE PD. It’s pretty crazy to watch as people who end up getting pulled over like this and tied up with law enforcement just keep doing things to dig their hole deeper and deeper. I guess that maybe in some of the situations, they probably figure that they’re already screwed if they’re honest so they might as well try to do something to get out of it. It’s very rarely that a plan like that prevails.
