Meet The Custom Built 1/4 Scale Remote Control Willy’s With a Turbocharger

Just when you thought that the remote control community couldn’t come up with something cooler, with all of the different avenues it goes down, taking fantasy and real life and bringing them both to your hobby shop at a price that might not make you take out a second mortgage, along come something even cooler that might just make you think about putting a little bit more on that credit card, after all. Lots of ideas have been shrunken down and recreated in hobby scale so that you can really get your hands on them. However, if you have yet to see this one, we think that both hobbyists and people who normally wouldn’t be interested in R/C alike are going to get a kick out of this one.
What we’re seeing here is a scaled-down Willys. Now, normally, with something that simple, while it might be cool, it isn’t necessarily something that would jump right off of the page and grab your attention. However, when you consider some of the other parts that are making this thing work, you can’t help but click in, seeing exactly how they all come together and how such parts function in a scaled-down format. When you consider the fact that this thing is turbocharged and intercooled, you can’t help but be amused as the machine comes together right in front of your eyes.
If you follow along with the video below, you’ll be able to see this one-of-a-kind machine that really takes what it means to put together a custom remote control vehicle and brings it to a new level. After seeing something like this, you’ll probably start to believe that nothing is impossible when it comes to this kind of hobby. When you sink your teeth into this one, you might just be wondering if it would be possible to incorporate something like a nitrous system to a remote controlled vehicle or maybe even a miniature supercharger. We would definitely be down to see something like that come to life as well.
