World’s Fastest 3D Printed RC Car – Ultimaker: 3D Printing Story

With the world of 3D printing worming its way closer and closer to the mainstream, it’s only a matter of time before the technology is pushed to the extreme as a lot of creators will be looking to coax the most they possibly can out of it.

This time, we check in with James Beswick, a guy who happens to have a thing for freakishly fast remote controlled cars and now is setting out to create his own.

With a head full of knowledge and a 3D printer, James’s current build has resulted in what this video shows to be a 113mph pull, not a bad start for his eventual goal of breaking the 202mph R/C world record.

Check out the video below that shows off the trials and tribulations that James faces on the path toward conquering his overall goal. Where this journey will stop, nobody knows.

This zippy little rotary R/C below might just blow your wig!
